1. Corporate disclosure
Legal entity: Kenlife Limited. Registration number: PVT-AAAGRD6. KRA PIN: P051645174P. Operating brand: Kenlife Resort. Website: www.kenlife.co.ke. General email: info@kenlife.co.ke. Finance email: finance@kenlife.co.ke.
2. Purpose of this Legal Policy
This Legal Policy is a website legal notice and corporate-disclosure framework. It explains the legal identity behind the website, ownership of content, acceptable use, digital communications, third-party services, liability boundaries and governing-law principles. It should be read with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refunds Policy and Deletion Policy.
3. Website information
Kenlife aims to keep service, package, event, price, opening-time, location and availability information accurate. Hospitality operations are dynamic, and information may change because of availability, season, weather, safety, supplier conditions, events, maintenance, regulation or management decisions. A quotation, confirmed reservation, paid order or written agreement takes priority over general marketing content where the two differ.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Kenlife name, logos, website design, photographs, text, menus, product descriptions, package designs, graphics, operating-system interfaces and other original content are owned by or lawfully used by Kenlife Limited. You may view and use the site for personal or legitimate business interaction with Kenlife. Republishing, scraping, copying, selling, misrepresenting, removing branding or using content to impersonate Kenlife is prohibited except with written permission or as permitted by law.
5. User-provided content
When you submit reviews, comments, event information, support material or other content, you remain responsible for having the right to provide it. Kenlife may store and use such content to deliver the requested service, resolve disputes, maintain records and, where separately authorised, for marketing or testimonials. Staff image and media use is governed by separate consent arrangements.
6. Electronic records and communications
You agree that lawful electronic communications, confirmations, quotations, invoices, receipts, notices and records may be delivered by email, WhatsApp, customer/supplier portal or other approved electronic channel. Certain transactions may still require additional identification, signature, approval or statutory documentation.
7. External links and integrations
The website and Kenlife may link or connect to payment gateways, banks, M-Pesa, Pesapal, Meta/WhatsApp, Google, reservation platforms, e-commerce platforms, logistics providers and other external services. Those services are independently operated. Kenlife is responsible for its own configuration and processing but does not control the availability, policies or independent acts of third-party providers.
8. Regulatory and statutory information
Kenlife will issue invoices, receipts and statutory records in accordance with applicable Kenyan tax and business requirements. Where a digital integration is described as “ready”, “connected” or “active”, actual provider functionality remains subject to provider credentials, account status, regulatory approval and network availability.
9. Misuse and security
You must not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with service, scrape protected data, bypass access controls, abuse promotional codes, create fraudulent reservations, impersonate another person, manipulate payments or misuse Kenlife systems. Kenlife may block access, preserve evidence and report suspected unlawful activity.
10. Liability boundaries
Nothing in this policy excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limitation, Kenlife is not responsible for losses caused solely by events outside its reasonable control, including major network outages, provider failures, extreme weather, government restrictions or third-party platform downtime. Service-specific responsibility is determined by the applicable reservation, order, event, quotation or contract.
11. Governing law and disputes
Kenlife Limited is a Kenyan company and these website terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without limiting mandatory rights that may apply to a consumer in another jurisdiction. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through Kenlife’s official contact channels before escalating to a competent regulator, tribunal or court where appropriate.
12. Contact and notices
General legal or website notices may be sent to info@kenlife.co.ke. Finance notices should also be copied to finance@kenlife.co.ke where the subject concerns payment, invoicing or financial settlement.
8. Resort Network commercial records
Kenlife Resort Network package catalogues are operational records and may be updated for future sponsorships, exhibitions, clinics or forums. An issued or confirmed sponsorship keeps the agreed commercial snapshot. Custom contributions do not create ownership, partnership, agency, endorsement or exclusive rights unless a signed agreement expressly says so.
9. Electronic records and verification
Kenlife systems may generate QR-verifiable invoices, receipts, quotations, agreements, passes and other records. A QR code is a verification aid and does not by itself prove payment or legal validity; the authoritative status is the corresponding controlled Kenlife record and, where applicable, reconciled payment or signed/accepted agreement.
10. Automated and AI-assisted systems
Automation and AI may assist authorised Kenlife users with operational work, drafting and recommendations. Kenlife retains human approval and established controls for material decisions. Users should not rely on an AI-generated explanation as a substitute for a confirmed booking, approved quotation, signed agreement, payment reconciliation, professional advice or official regulatory record.
Connected digital channels
The Resort Network and mobile/PWA channels form part of Kenlife's connected digital service environment. Public-facing terminology does not expose internal system names unnecessarily; internal operating controls remain governed by Kenlife policies and authorised access.
